Christ Church Midland is a wonderful place to put down your roots. Our faith is based securely on the teachings of the Bible and is expressed in a creative blending of tradition and innovation. We bring together old and new in such a way that we don’t lose touch with what has made the church strong throughout history while recognizing that the Gospel of Jesus must speak compellingly to each new generation.

How do we do this? With much prayer, a gifted staff and a core group of dedicated volunteers; with the ancient liturgies of the church and the best of contemporary music; and with teaching that makes the Bible understandable.…

Beyond the walls

Beyond the Walls:  Santa Rita Elementary School Partnership

The partnership with Kids Hope, USA, Christ Church Midland and Santa Rita Elementary School was started in mid-spring of 2011 with 17 Mentors and students.  After a period of training each mentor spent 1 hour per weed with the student in various activities consisting of creative play, outside play and some academic work.  The goal was to develop a meaningful relationship with the student that reflected Jesus’ love as exemplified through the mentor.  …

The goal in Children’s Ministries is to partner with parents to invite children into a lifelong journey of faith, leading to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We know a shared experience between church and home is far more effective in building a spiritual foundation, and all programs are designed to encourage parent involvement and follow-up conversations in the home.…

The Women’s Ministry encourages and nurtures women in their relationship with God by offering fellowship, education, and devotional time, service activities, and reaching out to those who do not know Christ.

Alpha Course

The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith.  It’s relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun.  There is a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives you an opportunity to get to know each other.  Listen, learn, discuss and discover.  And ask anything.   Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or to hostile.  And it’s supported by all the main Christian denominations.…
